THINGS THAT MATTER

  • Strategy is why you get out of bed. It’s linked intrinsically to your purpose. It helps focus what you do and in what order. Strategy is that group of drivers that gets you where you want to be. I’ve help teams succeed across tourism, higher education, not-for-profit, media and communications.

  • I’m an award-winning former journalist, columnist and editor. Words can be our salvation and our damnation. That’s why communicating well is essential. But it takes on all forms now - video, photos, short-form, long-form, internal comms, crisis comms … it’s a matrix that needs an expert touch.

  • Brand is your personality; marketing is your clothes. The two have to align to be authentic. Marketing is the fun stuff that makes people take notice, throws them a promise and helps them take the next step. I can help decipher the jargon.

  • The customer can be different in every environment but they are pivotal to your success no matter who you are. Every moment they interact with you or your brand they are experiencing what you stand for. Finding the crunch moments in that experience and ensuring the customer needs are met is fundamental to your sucess.
